For the Love of Stationery

Sometimes pictures speak for themselves, and rightly express to invigorate all the senses. Today, at work, I was asked to make a list of my stationery requisites and send it to my HR department. Our schedules are morose, and my staff tends to crib a lot most of the time. So even this came as a mammoth burden for most, I however, got supremely excited and the audience around saw me laugh with a sparkle in my eyes wondering what had brought this about. Only my fellow stationery lovers and paper smellers will understand the sheer joy of delving into the world of exquisite stationery, a utopian place with chromes and hues, pastels and chalks, post its and circular rubber bands, properly arranged sheaf of papers with sharpies standing happily next to them. Sigh, it is indeed my paradise which I choose to lose myself in whenever work seems agonising. So I begun my day, with my pictorial inventory, which came as a gentle breeze of relief for all my co employees, who were quite overjoyed upon receiving my list, which instead of some reluctantly jotted down plain words, was a carefully curated online board, of my items which I drooled for. Everyone was surprised and greatly amazed by it, asking me to forward the same to them, going gaga over what would have been another bore, but turned out to be a great motivator. Hence my list was sent across all departments & to my utter surprise, I discovered that stationery can indeed be an elixir in our monotonous routines. So here's to pencils, papers, erasers, pins and folders, all all of you who share an intimacy with them.
